Winter Social Meal 2017 – Saturday Feb. 18th, 11 AM – Westgate Bowling and Pizza 721 N Cable Rd, Lima. We have reserved a private space at Westgate on Feb. 18th for the club to meet, eat, socialize and bowl. Look forward to seeing everyone there! This is an open event for visitors, guests and prospective club members. Winter Meal has been a great and well attended event the last 3+ years. This will be the kickoff for 2017 membership sign up. The 2017 membership form is available on the membership page and we’ll have some copies available that day (fees will remain 15 ind/30 family). We will have a very brief meeting shortly after 11, then lunch and bowling on your own. We have some good plans started for 2017 for the meeting including: new t-shirts, new club jersey design started (we can consider sponsorship/logos for these jerseys), tour info update, 2017 meeting schedule, ride schedule, rider recognition, etc. There are two service opportunities for the club to consider in 2017 that involve bike donation/volunteer mechanic repair and youth bicycling in Lima. The club can contribute to these efforts. It will be discussed at the meeting. SEE YOU THERE!!!
Brief 2016 Recap
2016 was another excellent year for the club with another year of growth to the 40 member mark, service activities, safe and well attended group rides throughout the year, a successful Limaland Tour with 80+ riders and over $1000 raised for the club as well as a $200 donation to the Lafayette Jackson Historic Society for their monument repair project. Congratulations and thank you to all members and contributions. Let’s keep it going for 2017 and beyond!
